YAY!!! Thanks for the feedback on my 2 new pics. :) I had a lot of fun making them - both have techniques that I haven't really incorporated into my real work until now. That makes me happy. And DITTO! you on the cant' wait to get together - I love how your mind works - so inspiring!!
Thank you so much for the welcome, Angela! Also many thanks to Melissa Vess for inviting me to join. Seems really friendly here, and I've spotted some amazing and inspirational creations too!
Hi Angela and thank you for the welcome.
I must say your pieces are so gorgeous that I'm going to have to get one of the children to hide my credit card.
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone's work and using all the facilities you have to offer here.
Lesley.
i would say 28 or 30, 28 is what i use the most, and you can get copper at the hardware store. jon said he can't take me anyware anymore without finding jewelry supplies! use a steel hook, for the designs i posted, i mostly used a size 4 hook, but you can go to an aluminum, and a larger size will give a beautiful loopy webby look.
if you want to add beads, pre string them to the wire then pull then into the work. let me know if i can help, i love helping people get into this cause i love it so.

Thanks Angela - found the link through Starving Artists and recognise quite a few friendly faces, glad that I have another fabulous place to visit! Thanks for the warm welcome. Cheers ~ Caron
Thank you! I am a flute maker, mainly, and I've always wanted to learn more metal/beadwork to add to my craft. I didn't know about this site until yesterday, soI'm fumbling around it right now! Nice to meet you! I hope this finds you well...
