Hands-On Heaven

A utopia for hands-on creations.

I have been really doing more with polymer clays then I ever have in the past! when I first began working with polymer clay, I was living in Hamilton, Montana ... oh gosh that was 1991! ack and I was sculpting lil' polymer clay roses and turning them into earrings. Oh gosh the art community in that town went nuts over 'em! I sold these earrings for $5 a pair, and sold everything I had created. Which was great because to make a living in Montana you really have to diversify yourself. Then, when I moved to Kalispell, MT to pick back up my college pursuit, I let it go by the wayside.

I am like a sponge now with all the new techniques and ways of creating really artistic pieces in jewelry using polymer clay. I even have the librarians enthuiastic at my local library!

So much to learn and it seems so little time!

Hey there! I've recently started in Polymer myself! I have found that you can be quite versatile with this medium. It's also fun to work with. I found a book one day that made it look so good that I thought, 'heck I can do that!' And so I've added hand made beads to my portfolio:)
