Lapidary / Gemstone Community Forum
I cut and sell gemstone cabochons and offer them at my online gemstone store. I also have a WordPress blog and the entries to that blog are also forwarded by way of a utility program to my blog within the Ganoksin Blogging Network.
My Lapidary / Gemstone Community forum is a community forum for members from every imaginable gemstone related niche to gather. Sharing a great many topics. Generally beginning with discoveries of various minerals, cutting, shaping and finishing cabochons right on up to and including the designing of jewelry and other gemstone related artwork.
Many of those same members also participate in my Lapidary Community WebRing.I also have a few lenses within the Squidoo community. My primary Squidoo lens is similar to the others. Jewelry design and gemstone related.

I am a member of one other Ning network called Jewelry Designer
New to jewelry designing. Having some luck, but have a long ways to go. Recently purchased a few start up tools, mandrels and other odds and ends for the purpose of trying to self teach metal forming.
Trying to get my own line of jewelry using silver as a medium for my designs.
Giving the social network thing a try for the purpose of meeting others doing the same things I am interested in, and also hope very much to learn from groups like this one to aid in my silversmithing and metal forming.

I would love to have you as a featured artists with some good sized pics of some of your really pretty stones, and links to your blog and store. My site is not going to be just for those who make jewelry, but those who make jewelry components too. I know quite a few of the jewelry designers also make glass beads and cabs. I think rock designers also have a special place in the jewelry community, because without them we would have nothing to put in our jewelry! :) I would love to have you visit my forum from time to time too. ---Jenn
