About Me:

Hello! My name is Erika, and I live in a big old farmhouse in the beautiful rural English countryside with my wonderful husband Barry. My favourite place, the small university city of Cambridge, is about 20 miles away and has a great artists market once a week.

I studied silversmithing and jewellery at Art College, but then changed career and spent 25 stressful years in IT Business & Project Management. Luckily I was able to retire (very!) early in December 07 and I've now returned to my lifelong passion, making exclusive designer jewellery. I combine handcrafted lampwork beads (made by my favourite glass artists from all over the world) with sterling silver, swarovski crystals and other fine quality materials to create beautiful and unique necklaces, earrings and bracelets.

In my spare time I'm usually to be found working in the garden, walking Tess my golden retriever, playing the piano, playing organ in church, or studying theology. I also became a step-grandma to beautiful little Bethany on 27th August 2008!

In my spare time I enjoy gardening, playing classical piano and church organ, and I'm also studying theology.

Oops - I never seem to have time to watch TV, but I used to love Friends, and does anyone else remember SOAP?! (with Bert and Alien Bert?)

Gone With the Wind, Sleepless in Seattle, and absolutely anything with Richard Gere in it! (I had to sell my collection of Richard Gere videos to feed my lampwork bead habit)
