Hands-On Heaven

A utopia for hands-on creations.

I want to put a rivet in to join a pendant and bail together.

I can't seem to hammer the tube without it bending so that when its done, the rivet lip around the hole is always uneven. Help?

Zosio: Your rivet is to long for the thickness of your metal. Check the thickness of your metal and then file down your rivet just a hair over the thickness. It's doesn't take much metal to hold.

You're most likely right, now that I think about it, they were too long!

Thanks.
